Sunday Morning Markets
Every Saturday you can find the Sunday Market in the parking lot at the Arcades Shopping Centre. It’s a fun and lively activity for families interesting in finding out about Zambian culture. The brightly coloured crafts, wood carvings, and African prints are a delightful sight and while bargaining is expected, though it’s a relaxed and low-pressure.

Munda Wanga Environmental Park
A trip to the Munda Wanga Environmental Park is an educational and exciting activity that’ll not only teach the kids somethings, but also keep them on their toes. This incredible rehabilitation centre ensures the ethical re-entry of endangered species such as pangolins and owls into the wild. The collection of regional flora is something to be admired, and the wide variety of animals that can be found on the property make it a one of a kind Lusaka experience.

Kalimba Reptile Park
Perfect for a family day out, Kalimba Reptile Park hosts a number of scaly reptiles for your viewing pleasure. Found near the lush Ngwerere stream, Kalimba Reptile Park produces crocodile eggs- making it uniquely self sufficient. Take a peek at giant Nile crocodiles, indigenous snakes and docile tortoises, or relax by the pool while the little ones are entertained by the mountain of kids activities.
